Audio Tour:
This building was constructed in 1900 by George Kuntzman’s insurance and real estate business. George Kuntzman was among the first enthusiasts to come to Grand Encampment in 1897, and he was considered to have the most flamboyant storefront in town, with its windows and metal relief.
The Kuntzman is currently displayed as a saloon because its high ceiling was able to fit the high bar/mirror set that was donated from one of the 16 saloons that existed in Encampment.
