Our Heritage
A Journey Through Time
Step back in time and experience the vibrant history of the Encampment valley. Our museum showcases over a dozen meticulously preserved historical buildings, each filled with artifacts that tell the story of the timber, mining, and agricultural industries that shaped this region at the turn of the 20th century. Known as the GEM of southern Wyoming, the Grand Encampment Museum offers a unique glimpse into the past, preserving the legacy of our pioneering ancestors for future generations.
